“I don’t think any film is so bad that I would have to turn it off”
It was a throw away comment that soon snowballed into a terrible plan to waste over 234 hours of the best years of our lives. We are the kind of people who have the IMDB app on our phones and can talk about a film longer than the running time, so it didn’t take long before we had the official list of the worst 100 films ever made and the temptation was just too much.
When someone asks you to ‘smell this’ you know it isn’t going to be good but you instinctively sniff. Well we sniffed and we sniffed good. Maid in Manhattan with Jennifer Lopez is a bad film, right? Spice World was painful, wasn’t it? Anything with Matthew McConaughy is near unbearable? None of those feature. Let that sink in. Those films were too good for this list and I think that lets you in on the standard we are embarking upon. If you look on the right hand side of this page, you will find our blog posts on each film as we count backwards from 100. Feel free to dip in and out or take them all on and please do read, share and comment.
So, as we set off on a journey through Santa Claus meeting Martians, Chinese Communist propoganda and Paris Hilton, we thought we would keep you posted.
So, here goes nothing. The 100 worst films of all time. The 20th Century Flops.

Re the Matthew Mcconaughy comment in the article, any true film fan would know and love Dazed and Confused which featured him prominently.
There are exceptions to the rule Maxwell. Dazed andConfused is of course excellent. And MM has actually done some pretty good work of late. But there’s too much shit in between to forgive him so easily. We aren’t the first to point out his shortcomings. Seth McFarlane isn’t a fan either. Craig.
